what do you like about your work so far ?

Drawing is one of my favorite things, I am used to draw everyday. But always take a lot of time to finish my drawings because I do them with very meticulous strokes. This exercise was intense giving us only a few minutes to finish, but I really appreciated drawing with the continuous line, especially when you don’t look at your page. It is the surprise of the result at the end that gives pleasure and is always amusing.

What could be improved ?

The techniques that I am using are still very safe and I would next time to force myself to try new materials and going even more out of my comfort zone. I want to improve also my collages an work more with the negatives spaces.

What other drawing techniques could you try?

I would like to try to use ink, I feel that it could give the drawing interesting shapes if there is a thin layer of water underneath, the ink would expand and will create amazing variations of colors on the paper. Also using more 3D materials, trying to ad fabric or just folding paper to create volume.
