Today's class was all about the colors in our project. Finding the perfect tone and the perfect shade between all the colors that exist is hard, because there are so many colors I would like to explore and use. But as I know I can easily overload of ideas, I decided to focus on a small selection. One of the main colors I choose to work with is orange. And all the ones linked to it, so for instance yellow and red because when being blended , become a mixture of the energy associated with red and the happiness associated with yellow. Orange is associated with meanings of joy, warmth, heat, sunshine, enthusiasm, creativity, success, encouragement, change, determination, health, stimulation, happiness, fun, enjoyment, balance, sexuality, freedom, expression, and fascination.
Studies show that the orange color can create physical effects such as increased hunger. Hunger and eating disorders being linked to my project, using that color would helped spreading a positive and healing energy.
walking threw that orange warm foggy corridor, the air was thick and it was really hard to breath. But I really appreciated the experience and it made me feel emotions, which is always important for me when it comes to art works. The part of it being suffocating connects with the feeling of being trapped in a eating disorder: you get no air anymore as you get no mo food.you try to resist to the pain and need to feed because your mind reminds you of the idea of weight gain. you feel as if you are stuck in a fish net, emprisoned, and there is no escape because most off the people don't realize that they have a mental illness. The fog at this point represent the blurriness of your vision. you can't see right anymore. the way you perceive your skin, your body shape and you're weight, you loose one of the most important senses.

on Thursday I participated tot different workshops as weaving and crochet were I learned interesting techniques that could permit me to assemble my final outcome. I find it important to to keep the contratyste between the natural protection of the the fruits, their own skin opposites to the one given to them, the plastic wrapping.

this week project is about the re-use of different objects. After watching the two different documentaries, I thought how much the human is consuming and how much waste I produce each day just by all the food I am buying. Almost 20 per cent of the food made available to consumers is lost through over-eating or waste, a study suggests. The world population consumes around 10 per cent more food than it needs, while almost nine per cent is thrown away or left to spoil, researchers say. And by thinking of all the packaging that we use to cover the food, That is so useless. For example the one we use on the fruits. Fruits have already a natural skin that protects their flesh from external events. Their skin is perfectly adapted and suits themas the perfect armur. The one thing that I find completely outrageous is when an clementine for example in a supermarket, is pealed and then covered in a plastic protection. If nature has already given this fruit an natural shielding, why should we remove it and replace it by something that leads to earth pollution and could become one of the small causes of the planet becoming a place where we couldn't live anymore. This is why I decide to concentrate these three weeks on my food consumption and also the co,suption and waste made of the people surrounding me. I will be collecting all my food waste but also the plastique covering it, to develop it then on the sketch book and elaborate it threw research.
Contextual practice
after attending today's contextual practice, I wanted to rework on the concept of the ludic game. Using as a theme to my project only hard and sad subject, I feel I need to add a funny aspect to it, to make it lighter and give it a contrast. That's why I re used the two papers of the dominos game and the surrealistic one and adapted them to my objects

brief of what my intentions are for this project:
This project is all about concentrating myself to food. Moving to London, and starting to live by myself, made me more conscious on the products I buy everyday. There something about growing up and becoming older that make you realize loads of things you never thought of before. Each product I buy from normal supermarket is wrapped with plural layers of plastic. For one week I decided to collect all the food waste of what I eat and use it to make either sculptures or use it in my final outcome. My aim by doing this is to see how much I use plastic only by consuming food. One particular section that interest me are the packaging of the fruits and vegetables being one of the most useless of all of the food packaging. Each fruit has already a natural skin adapted to its consistency, procteting it from external environment . The idea that you can find an already peeled orange inside a plastic wrapping makes me go really insane. be if we compare it to the human being. We are born with our natural skin. Not enough to proctect us from earth climate changes, we needed to adapted ourself by creating clothing. At first only functional, it then started being more about a certain aesthetic, shape and beauty. Creating a certain This week being also the hunger strike of instinction rebellion, made me think of our connection to food today and my personal experience with it.
People start opening more and more about taboos as gender identity, sexe and violence, drug addiction etc. But food issues and eating disorders are still most of the time unspoken. It is something that people are ashamed about. When you deel with It is because you suffer from an emptiness. It can either be a lack of confidence, lack of of control or love. You try to have the control over something that shouldn’t be an issue
Walking on Monday thr ew the different corridors in the Tate modern , I find one room particularly inspiring for its
